A bit about the role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive KYC Operations Analyst to support the client verification process within our account security framework. This role is critical in ensuring clients are properly identified, verified, and onboarded securely through our KYC system, our identity verification application.

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Onboarding & Due Diligence: you'll review and process new client submissions received through our KYC system. This includes validating client identities using documents such as selfies, driver's licenses, and passports.
  • Manual Review & Validation: You will handle cases that require manual intervention due to discrepancies, failed automated checks, or missing information. This involves a thorough investigation to assess the legitimacy of submitted documents and determine whether it's safe and compliant to approve the client.
  • You will also conduct Customer Due Diligence (CDD) and Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) for high-risk or complex clients.
  • Record Keeping: you'll maintain detailed and accurate records of all client interactions, verification steps, and manual approvals. This is crucial for internal audits and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Client Interaction: you will engage with clients directly when additional documentation or clarification is required.
  • Collaboration with Compliance: escalate complex or uncertain cases to Compliance for further review and decision-making.

A bit about you

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to spot inconsistencies in documents.
  • Ability to handle confidential client data with a high level of integrity and professionalism.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for client interactions.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills when dealing with complex verification cases.
  • Ability to manage workload efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Previous experience in KYC, AML, client onboarding, or operations is highly regarded.

At Stake, we’re more interested in your attitude than your resume. If you believe this is a role you want to jump into, please apply and let us know why in your cover letter!
