Your Team:

The Product Launch team is built for people who don’t just maintain systems but create them. We take products from zero to hero, and scale them until they’re strong enough to be handed over to core teams. No legacy constraints. No endless support cycles. We move fast, think lean, and execute with focus, one product at a time, full commitment, full impact. Every sprint matter, every decision ship value. This is not a support team. It’s a build-from-scratch engine for products that matter, because every hero needs a superhero. 

How You’ll Make an Impact:  

• Design and build backend services and APIs from the ground up - powering brand-new products from initial concept to production.
• Own technical decisions early in the product lifecycle, shaping architecture, data models, and service boundaries without legacy constraints.
• Develop scalable, high-performance systems using modern Java technologies, designed to evolve quickly as products gain traction.
• Work closely with product, design, and frontend teams to define and deliver features - contributing to what gets built, not just how.
• Move fast and ship often - iterating on real user feedback and continuously improving the product as it grows.
• Lay the foundation for long-term scalability and reliability, ensuring each product is ready to be handed over to core teams.
• Drive engineering excellence through clean design, pragmatic decisions, and high-quality code, even under fast-paced delivery cycles.
• Support and mentor teammates through hands-on collaboration, helping raise the bar while building impactful products together.

Employees may be required to participate in an on-call rotation, ensuring availability outside regular working hours to respond to urgent issues as needed as per the On call policy.

 Who You Are:  

• 5+ years of backend development experience with strong expertise in Java and object-oriented design. 
• Solid knowledge of design patterns, system architecture, and scalability principles. 
• Hands-on experience with databases (SQL/NoSQL) and message-driven systems (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ). 
• Familiar with containerization and orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker). 
• Comfortable with automated testing (unit, integration, performance). 
• Proven track record building and supporting production-grade, high-load systems. 
• Thrive in a dynamic, fast-changing environment with shifting priorities. 
• Strong communicator with a proactive, ownership-driven mindset.
