The Senior IATA Travel Consultant will lead corporate and event-related travel operations across the group. This role goes beyond booking to include supplier strategy, process optimisation, and readiness for scaling into a standalone or revenue-generating travel function.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead travel planning and execution for large-scale international events
• Manage group travel, charter options, speaker travel, and VIP itineraries
• Act as the main escalation point for complex or high-risk travel scenarios
• Negotiate preferred rates with airlines, hotel chains, and travel suppliers
• Design and continuously improve internal travel processes and SOPs
• Produce travel spend reports and insights for management
• Support feasibility planning for setting up or acquiring a travel agency
• Ensure full IATA, airline, and regulatory compliance

Requirements

• IATA certification (mandatory)
• 5–8 years’ experience in corporate or event-focused travel
• Strong group travel and negotiation experience
• Advanced GDS knowledge
• Proven experience working with senior stakeholders
• Strong commercial and analytical mindset

Nice to Have

• Experience supporting tech, iGaming, or large international conferences
• Exposure to setting up or scaling a travel operation
• Experience mentoring junior travel agents
