Reporting into the Head of Generosity Transformation the Senior Generosity Transformation Manager – Sports is a key role in the Flutter UKI Generosity Transformation team with focus on delivering generosity innovation and capabilities for Flutter UK&I brands.
This position centers on building and delivering Flutter UKI's strategic generosity commercial priorities. It has a significant impact on the strategic direction of Paddy Power, Betfair, and Sky Bet brands.
The role will adopt cross functional ways of working to drive Flutter UKI forward. The successful candidate will be a critical individual contributor, will lead a team of one direct report and will have significant exposure to senior management across Flutter UKI.
What you’ll do
- Evolve Flutter UKI’s Sports mechanic portfolio: Facilitate conceptualisation of new Sports mechanics for Flutter UKI with Brand Commercial teams, with particular attention to tax efficiency. Validate Commercial feasibility and prioritise those with most value to the business. Partner with Product teams and play the role of commercial lead on requirements gathering, delivery and UAT.
- Uplift Flutter UKI’s Generosity capabilities and data availability: Be the main commercial partner for Generosity Intelligence, Product, Data and Tech teams to size, scope and lead the commercial prioritisation of improvements to the data used for allocation and reporting purposes on Sports. Lead on building out opportunities to uplift capabilities that enable smart and scalable allocation decisions. Support the Model Driven Generosity programme with delivery of capabilities that enable Personalised Generosity at scale.
- Drive a step-change in Competitor Monitoring to inform priorities: Build out our capabilities to effectively monitor competitor activity in market. Be responsible for the communication of Sports competitor reporting , using insights to inform Innovation priorities and providing Brand Commercial teams with actionable insights to be responsive in market.
- Build the UKI-wide plan for shared Sports mechanics. Guide the strategy's expansion across brands to improve Flutter UKI's commercial impact.
What we`re looking for
- Confirmed experience in a B2C environment within a functional area
- Hunger and desire to disrupt and change the Betting industry
- Experience in leading cross-functional initiatives involving colleagues from a range of subject areas
- Proven ability in guiding a team, with a clear track record for team development
- Experience in working with a very wide variety of internal partners across a complex / matrix organisation
- Ability to clearly communicate relevant updates to senior management
