Your Team

Reporting to the Head of Finance, an exciting opportunity has been opened in the UKI FP&A Team. This position is responsible for the accurate and timely preparation, analysis and completion of reports to support Key Partners understand historical performance and make business decisions for the long-term success of the business.

Working in a small team, with managerial responsibility of managers/analysts, you will be responsible for providing quality reports on a complex c$5bn revenue division, across the UKI, each with multiple brands and revenue verticals.

What you’ll do

  • End to end monthly flash process.
  • Periodic management reporting – commenting on performance versus prior year and latest forecast.
  • External reporting support - with particular focus on quarterly reporting for the purposes of investor/public consumption
  • Internal reporting support - Preparing financial material for quarterly results presentations for divisional CEO/CFO
  • Enhancing consistency and conformity to international reporting standards (unified templates and ways of working)
  • Tracking of one-offs, luck & other performance impacting drivers
  • Supervise variance analysis and provide actionable recommendations to improve financial outcomes.
  • Lead the monthly consolidation and reporting of financial results to executives and partners.
  • Owner of divisional cashflow, improving efficiency, accuracy of process while improving governance and oversight.
  • Point of contact for divisional partners in the business (Legal, Compliance, Tax etc.)

How you’ll do it:

  • Knowledge of the sports betting and iGaming industries, market dynamics, and Flutter’s competitive landscape
  • Ability to use Flutter’s software suite to build sophisticated financial models and present analysis into report format with commentary.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to communicate clearly to partners at all levels across the organisation with clarity, impact and relevance.
  • Driven individual with ability to work in a team/ on their own, ability to prioritise and lead various workloads and delivery quality work to meet tight deadlines.
  • Ability to motivate and educate managers/analysts with a view to succession planning.
  • Forward thinking outlook to anticipate reporting challenges and drive continuous improvement.
  • Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA accountant
  • Good knowledge of US GAAP & IFRS crucial
  • Good knowledge of EPM, PowerPoint, Think Cell, Word, Excel crucial.
