Your Team:

The Engineering Excellence Team is for engineers who build the systems that power everything else. No product tickets. No UI tweaks. No support loops. You’ll create the tools, standards, and frameworks that make every development team faster and stronger.

This is deep technical work with massive impact - shaping architecture, unifying processes, and defining how engineering is done across the company. A place for senior engineers who want to build the backbone, not the features. This is not a product team. It’s a technical excellence engine for people who want to build the systems behind the systems - and elevate the whole company through world‑class engineering.

How You’ll Make an Impact:

• Design and evolve CI/CD frameworks that standardize and accelerate delivery across all engineering teams.
• Build and maintain infrastructure-as-code platforms that enable teams to provision and manage cloud environments in a consistent, self-service way.
• Define and implement Kubernetes-based platform capabilities that provide scalable, production-ready foundations for all applications.
• Establish and operate shared services such as event streaming platforms (e.g. Apache Kafka), enabling teams to build data-driven systems without reinventing the wheel.
• Drive centralized configuration management and environment standardization, ensuring consistency, security, and reliability at scale.
• Build and evolve company-wide observability solutions - logging, monitoring, and alerting - to provide deep visibility into system health and performance.
• Set engineering standards and best practices for reliability, scalability, and operational excellence across the organization.
• Partner with development teams to improve developer experience, remove bottlenecks, and enable faster, more reliable delivery.
• Continuously identify opportunities to simplify, automate, and unify engineering processes, raising the overall technical bar of the company.

Employees may be required to participate in an on-call rotation, ensuring availability outside regular working hours to respond to urgent issues as needed as per the On call policy.

Who You Are:

• Technical Expertise: Proficient in Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Packer, and Ansible. 
• CI/CD Knowledge: Solid understanding of CI/CD processes and tools, including Git, Jenkins, and Microsoft Teams. 
• Apache Kafka Expertise: Proven experience with Apache Kafka, including cluster management, topic configuration, Kafka Connect, Schema Registry, and a strong understanding of data streaming concepts.
• Cloud Experience: Hands-on experience with Google Cloud. 
• OS & Networking: Strong knowledge of Linux/UNIX operating systems and networking fundamentals. 
• Scripting Skills: Skilled in scripting with Python and Bash. 
• Management Processes: Knowledge of Change Management and Release Management best practices. 
• Problem-Solving: Exceptional troubleshooting abilities, with a proactive and analytical approach. 
• Team Qualities: Highly motivated, responsible, dynamic, and an effective team player.
