  • Establish and track category performance measures, including cost, savings, service levels, reliability, lead times, supplier performance, and risk indicators.
  • Mentor and support less experienced procurement and category team members by sharing category expertise, standard processes, and commercial mentorship.

What We're Looking For

  • 10+ years in strategic sourcing, category management, logistics, supply chain, or a related commercial field.
  • Proven ability to develop and complete global or multi-region category strategies for logistics, freight, warehousing, transportation, customs, or broader supply chain services.
  • Experience leading complex, high-value negotiations with logistics providers, freight forwarders, warehouse partners, transportation suppliers, or other strategic service providers.
  • Strong capability to influence senior collaborators and align cross-functional partners across regions and business priorities.
  • Global or matrixed organization experience is preferred.
  • Exposure to transformation, supplier consolidation, operating model redesign, or logistics network optimization.
  • Strong understanding of logistics cost drivers, supplier markets, service models, contract structures, risk management, and performance governance.
  • Enterprise outlook and strategic problem-solving capability.
  • High ownership and accountability, with the ability to operate autonomously and make sound recommendations on complex supplier and commercial decisions.
  • Ability to drive transformation and measurable outcomes across cost, service, supplier performance, risk, and operational efficiency.
