Position Overview

We are looking for a Senior Back End Developer with strong expertise in building scalable, secure, and high-performance systems. This role goes beyond writing APIs as it requires someone who can design robust architectures, optimize server-side logic, and ensure seamless integration between front end and back end components. You will play a key role in shaping the foundation of our new digital learning platform, ensuring it is reliable, efficient, and built to grow.

Responsibilities: 

• Develop and maintain robust server-side components using Node.js and TypeScript. 
• Integrate the back end seamlessly with the front-end, ensuring smooth data flows and optimal performance. 
• Design, document, and maintain efficient database structures and schemas. 
• Implement comprehensive security best practices and data protection measures. 
• Optimize server-side performance for maximum scalability and reliability. 
• Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure clean, maintainable, and robust code. 
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions. 

Requirements: 

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field. 
• 3+ years of back-end development experience with Node.js and TypeScript. 
• Strong understanding of server-side logic, REST API principles, and efficient data handling. 
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail. 
• Proven ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a team environment. 

Would be beneficial 

• Familiarity with test automation tools. 
• Understanding of authentication mechanisms. 
• Knowledge of cloud services and deployment strategies. 
• Understanding of microservices architecture and API gateway patterns.
