ABOUT THE ROLE
The jobholder will lead by example to other team members in ensuring that AML operations are conducted efficiently and proactively anticipating issues to minimize exposure to money laundering and financing of terrorism activities, while providing support to other departments to resolve AML queries and ensuring even workload distribution. The Senior Analyst will also adopt the role of the team mentor.
YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:
- Acting as a constant point of reference for any queries or escalations made by the team
- Being the point of reference for the team when the Team Leader is not present.
- Ensuring that any escalations made by other departments are optimally handled so as to ensure the best service to our customers.
- Being a reliable and effective liaison with internal departments to resolve any issues
- Monitoring of internal reports within the AML Team.
- Coordinating with the Process Adherence function to ensure all current procedures are up-to-date, while implementing new routines and processes according to the needs of the business at any given time.
- Conducting quality reviews, track performance of agents, identify areas for training/ improvement for agents within the team.
- Working on any ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the Team Leader and Operations Manager.
- Maintaining deadlines allocated for tasks assigned by the AML Management Team.
- Mentoring and shadowing of team members who may require additional support with specific tasks
- Conduct Customer Risk Assessments as dictated by operational requirements.

- Ability to work hours to suit the business needs, including evenings and weekends.
- Meticulous, takes initiative and possesses good analytical skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines on a day-to-day basis.
Nice to have skills:
- IGaming industry experience.
