Role Overview

The Senior Affiliate Manager will be responsible for developing and leading the SEU Affiliate strategy. Focused on delivering growth for the region, the role will outline a high-level strategy and roadmap which finds opportunities to expand the SEU affiliate network. Alongside identifying new growth opportunities, the roles will ensure existing partnerships are meeting their maximum potential and continue to help us deliver efficient customer acquisition for the business.

Requiring a strong acuity for data and analytics, the role will be responsible for the overall performance of the affiliate network. The role will strive to embed clear, simple and effective reporting allowing both the affiliate team and senior collaborators to support and adapt strategy and plans based on data and insight. You’ll bring a mix of commercial drive, analytical capability and relationship-building skills to ensure PokerStars maximises the value from its affiliate programme.

The role will support the affiliates team to work closely with our partners to optimise performance and to set up and negotiate deals. The individual will work with the affiliate managers to ensure the team are set clear KPIs, objectives and have deliverable development and learning plans in place for the team.

Crucially, the senior affiliate manager will work closely with our affiliate tech team to ensure our affiliate management platform meets the expectations of our partners and supports the team’s ability to serve our affiliate network. This will include introducing clear and effective processes including how compliance, finance and payments are facilitated through the platform.

What you’ll do:

Reporting to the Head of Media, you will:

  • Lead the development and delivery of the SEU Affiliates growth strategy & roadmap
  • Set clear critical metrics, objectives and goals for the SEU affiliates team
  • Lead the negotiation of key deals to ensure sustainable growth for PokerStars
  • Be responsible for the overall performance and growth of the SEU Affiliates network
  • Support the SEU Affiliates team with the management of key partners including maintaining and developing relationships with new and existing partners
  • Introduce clear and effective reporting and tracking for the affiliates team and partners allowing. Providing collaborators with insight and leading recommendations for improvement
  • Working closely with our affiliate tech team, develop the affiliate platform to ensure the effective management of our partner network, including set-up, tracking, reporting, compliance and payments
  • Embed clear processes across the affiliates and wider supporting teams including compliance and finance while building strong relationships with these supporting teams
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, competitor activity and regulatory changes. Ensuring the programme adapts as needed.

What you’ll bring:

  • Proven experience in a senior affiliates role
  • Industry experience in the marketing field of online gambling – experience of or poker & casino knowledge a must
  • Evidence of ability to use data and insight to develop a clear growth strategy and roadmap
  • Experience of hands-on affiliate partner management and ability to forge strong relationships internally as well as with external partners
  • Explicit experience of managing and developing affiliate platforms such as Income Access, NetRefer etc.
  • Comfortable working with data and producing both performance reports and collaborator recommendation packs including strong excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • Results-orientated, with a strong understanding of direct response marketing and performance metrics in general
