Job Description

As a Senior Accountant you will play a key part of the management accounts team through the production of the management accounts for our South American Operations.

You will report directly to the Senior Finance Manager and support the management accounts team through the production and analysis of the South American management accounts.

This role is an exciting opportunity to gain exposure to a rapidly growing area of the Business as we continue our expansion across South America. You will work closely with internal stakeholders by providing variance analysis and forecasts which will support future Business decisions.

As our South American operation increases, this role will require you to support the Senior Finance Manager in establishing the production of processes and best practise. You will work proactively to ensure robust controls are in place to ensure improved accuracy and efficiency.

This role is eligible for inclusion in the Company’s hybrid working from home policy.

Successful applicants will be required to provide proof of eligibility to work in the UK from their first day of employment.

Qualifications

  • ACCA or CIMA qualified.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Proactive and positive approach to tasks.
  • Strong problem solving skills.

Additional Information

  • Producing the period end management accounts and creating supporting commentary for review by the senior management.
  • Working closely with the FP&A function on budgets and forecasts.
  • Completing reconciliation within territory ledgers.
  • Carrying out daily financial reconciliations and investigating variances.
  • Maintaining and developing South American accounting process documentation.
  • Providing corporate audit support.
