About the Role

We are seeking a reliable, detail-driven Senior Accountant to support and enhance the company’s financial operations. In this role, you will manage daily accounting activities, prepare monthly financial reports and payroll, oversee bank reconciliations and AP/AR, and ensure accurate tax and regulatory submissions. You will also contribute to budgeting processes, assist with audits, handle crypto payment conversions, and support improvements to financial systems and procedures.

This role requires strong analytical skills, confidentiality, and a proactive approach. You will provide regular updates to senior management, guide junior staff, and help maintain efficient, compliant, and scalable financial operations in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze transactions and prepare reports 
• Perform monthly reports and payroll costs  
• Oversee banks reconciliation and manage accounts payable/receivable 
• Participate in budgeting processes 
• Brief senior managers regularly on the company’s financial status 
• Monitor bookkeeping activities regularly 
• Keep company financial information confidential 
• Establish accounting policies and procedures 
• Stay informed on industry developments and changes in regulations 
• Supporting the Finance team with projects and tasks when required 
• Helping in the conversion of crypto payments 
• Funding payout solutions on a timely manner 
• Preparing and submitting the monthly/quarterly VAT/VIES and other Tax returns 
• Assisting with the completion of the annual audit 
• Processing payments according to company procedures 
• Preparation of monthly payroll 
• Assist with the completion of the applications for new bank account openings 
•  Guide and support junior staff 
• Any other task assigned by the line manager. 

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications (ACCA, ACA, CPA) considered an advantage.
• Proven experience in a finance, accounting, or similar role.
• Experience with bookkeeping, bank reconciliations, payroll, and accounts payable/receivable functions.
• Familiarity with VAT, VIES, tax filings, and audit processes.
• Experience with crypto payments
