Position Summary

Scientific Games International Ltd is a subsidiary of the $1Billion pa turnover, globally renowned Scientific Games Corporation. Our purpose-built, state-of-the-art printing facility in Leeds supplies lottery scratch cards to clients in Europe.   

We have recently upgraded our printing operation, installing a brand new 20 unit, in-line flexographic press which is capable of printing 700mm wide at a rate of 300 metres per minute. This investment allows us to serve more customers than ever before.

We are looking to recruit a Quality Inspector, to work within our busy Security Quality testing Lab on a continental shift pattern.

The role involves:

  • Performing a variety of tests on our printed product to ensure it meets the required quality and security standards
  • Using a wide range of testing equipment to perform the standard tests within the required timescales
  • Inputting results onto the computer database and producing reports
  • Provide feedback on test results to the Press team
  • Cleaning, maintaining and checking the Lab equipment

The successful applicant must have:

  • Experience of working within a quality testing department in a high-volume, fast moving manufacturing environment
  • Experience of Quality testing techniques
  • Strong attention to detail 
  • The ability to work on your own initiative & make important decisions
  • Positive attitude and approach with the drive to see activities through to their conclusion
  • Be able to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Confident communicator
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to deal effectively with people at all levels of business
  • IT literate (MS Office)

This position involves working a Continental Shift pattern (which will include working weekends and possible nights) of on average, 39 hours per week.

As part of the role you will be expected to work overtime, at the appropriate pay rates, for holiday cover, sickness cover and standard overtime shifts – this ongoing flexibility is an essential requirement

There is a competitive salary of £33,827.10 per annum plus generous annual leave entitlement, pension scheme with a company match of 6% of pensionable salary and free onsite car parking.
