QA Engineer - Betslip Team

ABOUT THE ROLE:

Are you a QA Automation Engineer who thrives in a fast-paced environment? Join the Sportsbook team at LeoVegas and help shape the future of our betting platform. Working in a collaborative Agile team alongside skilled Java, TypeScript, and QA engineers, you will

design robust test strategies and dene clear scopes aligned with business goals. If you want to tackle real-time data challenges and elevate a world-class sports betting product, we’d love to hear from you!

YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

• Designing, executing, and maintaining test cases for backend and frontend components

• Identifying opportunities for automation across the betting ow and contributing to their implementation

• Supporting the design and maintenance of automated tests (API, UI, E2E)

• Collaborating with developers and QAs to dene testing scope and ensure adequate test coverage

• Executing manual and automated tests as part of the development lifecycle

• Reporting, tracking, and verifying defects, ensuring timely resolution

• Contributing to improving test processes, reliability, and overall product quality

• Communicating risks and ndings clearly to team members and stakeholders

OUR SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING:

ESSENTIAL SKILLS

• Experience with backend test automation using Java

• Practical experience with automated API testing

• Familiarity with REST APIs and basic understanding of microservices architecture

• Prociency with test management tools (e.g. TestRail or similar)

• Understanding of Agile/Scrum and modern software development practices

NICE TO HAVES

• Experience with frontend testing including UI automation tools (Playwright)

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines

• Knowledge of event-driven systems

• Experience with performance testing

• ISTQB certication

• Interest in or experience with the iGaming domain
