QA Engineer

As a tester, you will take on the role of the end user, or rather, you will be their advocate during the development and share insights. From this, you play a key role in our software development process, and you will be involved in the planning and execution of the development from the very beginning.

Sportradar Virtual Gaming in Bremen has been growing at double-digit rates for years and has become the world leader in offering virtual sports betting products. To continue our success story, we are looking for you as an experienced QA Tester to join our QA team. In addition to quality assurance for the existing application, you will be involved in the exciting development of a completely new game genre that bridges the gap between sports and casino games.

You will work in an agile development environment and you will be part of the QA team. You will be responsible in collaboration with the developers and the product owner for the quality assurance of the developer team assigned to you. An important point in the department is the permanent education and training of the staff so that we can continue to deliver very good quality software to our loyal customers and ensure the highest possible standard.

THE CHALLENGE

• Perform manual tests of our sports betting products
• Write, execute and analyze automated tests for our Virtual Betting Products
• Manage defect tracking from identification, replication, documentation, and final testing
• Planning and implementation of quality assurance activities for new or enhanced products
• Creation of necessary test documents and reports such as Test Summary Reports, Test Case Specifications, KPI´s and others
• Direct communication with the development team
• Tools you will be working with: PlayWright, TestRail, Jira, Confluence
   

YOUR PROFILE

• Degree in Computer Science or has completed an Ausbildung program or equivalent
• Basic Programming skills (e.g. Python or Java-Script)
• Ability to learn quickly about new technologies
• The motivation to continuously improve the overall product quality
• and a “think outside the box” mindset.
• At least good knowledge of English is a prerequisite for our international working environment
• Being a team player
   

Considered As a Plus

• Experience in software testing and quality assurance.
• Experience with automated tests
• Strong experience in the creation of test documentation and KPI´s
• ISTQB or other certificates
• Experience with agile methodologies
