THE JOB:

At MGM Resorts, we create unforgettable moments — and behind every jaw-dropping event is a powerhouse team turning vision into reality. The MREP Event Project Manager plays a key role in delivering extraordinary experiences for our corporate, social, and internal events. From initial planning to on-site execution, you'll drive results, build relationships, and shape the guest experience in a role that’s anything but ordinary.

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Lead and execute events from event logistics to creative solutions — ensuring alignment with scope, budget, and venue requirements.

• Own the timeline and be the central point of communication with clients, vendors, and internal departments.

• Manage the post-sale experience, including financial tracking, event order updates, and reconciliation.

• Support pre-cons and onsite meetings with clients, ensuring everything is prepped, approved, and ready to deliver magic.

• Oversee event installs and strikes, jumping in with quick solutions when needed and ensuring all onsite execution exceeds expectations.

• Stay sharp and inspired by participating in industry trainings, tradeshows, and market research to elevate the MREP experience.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• 2+ years of experience in special events, sales, production, entertainment, catering or hospitalitiy industry.

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience

• Proven project management and time management skills.

• Passion for customer service and event excellence.

• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities — you're the person who gets things done and makes people feel heard.
