We're looking for a determined Project Manager to join Flutter UK & Ireland's Central Delivery team, as part of a 12-Month Fixed Term Contract.
As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end delivery of initiatives throughout the project lifecycle, from ‘Inception’ to ‘Benefit Realisation’.
Lead on defining, scoping and planning key deliverables, working closely with internal and external stakeholders of varying disciplines.
Ensure the successful delivery of business outcomes through effective planning, risk management and communication with the relevant stakeholders engaged on your project.
Manage cross-squad, cross-tribe and communication, coordinating them to ensure that dependencies are understood, and necessary tasks progressed accordingly.
Work closely with a variety of technical roles such as Architects, Engineers and Developers, as well as other Project Managers and Programme Managers
Structuring, planning and sequencing of programme change in line with defined business benefit.
Managing and monitoring projects that will deliver business outcomes and non-tangible benefits contributing to the overall vision.
Project Risk, Issue, Dependency Management.
Supplier / Partner Management, including overseeing supplier tender processes, commercials and statement of works, and managing suppliers delivery against key milestones/commitments.
Managing project budget against the agreed business case, monitoring forecast cost versus actual and realised benefits as the project progresses.
Managing a variety of stakeholder expectations within all levels of the business: executive / senior management / operational / delivery disciplines through appropriate governance and reporting.
Preventing, identifying and proactively removing blockers to enable progress of teams.
Working with stakeholders at all levels to ensure relevant contributions are being made and building working relationships with different functions of the business.
Driving cross tribe/cross brand communication and coordination to ensure that dependencies are understood and well managed in order to deliver the end outcomes successfully.
Ensure work is broken down accordingly to minimize dependencies and facilitate the continuous delivery of value.
Utilising best practice tools and techniques to aid communication and understanding, ensuring project documentation is fit for purpose.
Empower and encourage the team to focus on delivering value.
Driving continuous improvement in delivery practices
Experience of managing the delivery of complex technology or business change projects.
In-depth knowledge of project management methods and principles.
Experience of working with agile teams and more traditional delivery methodologies.
Strong leadership skills and ability to influence teams with your knowledge and experience of delivery.
Approachability, open mindedness and an ability to work well with people at all levels of the business.
Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and manage multiple activities at a time.
Confident and strong character with the ability to ensure that plans are kept to, and expectations are well managed.
