Overview of the role:
We are looking for a Programme Manager to join our Flutter Studios team in Dublin or Leeds. The role will be responsible for supporting, shaping, planning and accomplishing programmes which deliver Flutter Studios’ transformation goals. You will act as a bridge between the business and the Flutter Studios’ Leadership Team on programmes within your remit. You will be a pivotal player in achieving our ambition of the development and distribution of engaging and compelling games to Flutter’s casino brands.
What you’ll do:
This role requires a creative, adaptive problem solver with the ability to exert influence without authority. You’ll be comfortable working in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment, able to demonstrate initiative, look at alternatives and consider practical ways to solve problems. Responsibilities include:
- Mobilising, planning and delivering complex programmes and projects, ensuring they are set up for success to achieve a clear set of outcomes.
- Planning programmes to ensure pace of delivery is both ambitious, but also realistic, based on resourcing level, roadmaps and the organisation’s capacity to absorb change.
- Driving cross-functional communication and coordination; removing blockers to enable progress.
- Ensuring that risks, issues and interdependencies are identified, understood and well managed to deliver the programme successfully.
- Designing and implementing contextually-appropriate programme governance structures that facilitates data-driven decision-making.
- Developing programme reporting structures, which facilitates efficient roll up of current, accurate information and ensure expectations are well managed and progress is clearly communicated.
- Building and nurturing relationships with all levels of collaborators, including senior leaders, and being confident in gaining their agreement where it might be challenging. Fostering an organisational culture that embraces and thrives on change
- Have a good understanding of Change Leadership, how it compliments programme management. You will partner with the Change Lead & People functions to successfully deliver change.
What you’ll bring:
- Experienced in leading and delivering large-scale, transformation programmes across multiple locations in global organisations.
- Proven ability to build outstanding practice across a broad range of fields including a good balance of commercial skill and digital product delivery experience.
- Highly-experienced in senior collaborator management, supported by excellent verbal and written communication skills with a style that can flex according to the audience and medium.
- Experienced in building excellent working relationships with key collaborators at every level.
- Structured thinking and a strong ability to build collaborator decision-making.
- Demonstrated ability to be objective, analytical and impartial with the ability to work to exacting timelines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a ‘can-do’ approach to identify practical and pragmatic solutions.
- Proficient MS Office skills in addition to other communication and collaboration tools, e.g. Slack, Atlassian.
- Recognized programme management certification, preferably MSP or equivalent experience.
- Excellent report and presentation producing skills.
- Well-versed in documenting and tracking progress towards success metrics.
