We are looking for a Programme Manager – Betfair International to join our Product team. The successful candidate could be based in Leeds, Dublin, Porto or Cluj, with monthly travel required to offices.
You will play a fundamental role in the future development and success of Betfair International, working with a wide range of stakeholders across all of Flutter. There are dedicated tech teams for International to build features for our key markets; Brazil, Spain and Italy, and plans in place to further invest. But we also leverage capabilities developed by +50 UKI teams on the shared platform and have capacity allocation in areas such as Sports Platform and Data, so we need to ensure global requirements are considered.
This role follows a hybrid approach to working, allowing you to combine working from home with working in our modern offices. These discussions are between you and your manager to find the best pattern for you both, while recognising that quality time together is essential for keeping us mission-aligned.
Reporting to the Product Director, this role will be responsible for resetting the International tribe delivery function that includes, but isn’t limited to:
Collaborating closely as part of the Product Leadership Team to make progress against our strategy and KRs
Identifying where our unique operating model with the UK and Brazilian businesses needs to differentiate to hit our BFI goals
Establishing governance and standardised and delivery practices across Accounts, Gaming and Sports in alignment with the UKI Super Tribe teams
Driving the delivery of various complex International projects and programmes with multiple x-vertical dependencies
Line management of BFI Project Management pool of resource (7 headcount to date)
Building capability and planning cycles within the team; providing training, mentoring and skill development
Optimising processes and ways of working to be as efficient as possible
Providing clarity where roles and responsibilities currently overlap
Leading the implementation of JIRA tracking to report on our operating model allocation, velocity and proposing areas for improvement
Head of Delivery or relevant experience within Flutter
Proficient with BAU artefacts and governance; risk log, dependency tracking, RACI, delivery lifecycle etc.
JIRA implementation, reporting and usage
Proven ability to review existing processes and drive efficiencies
Strong relationships with internal stakeholders
Line management; multi-location experience beneficial
Excellent communication and presentation skills, comfortable operating at all levels of an organisation
Proficient multi-tasker and comfortable working in high pressure situations
Ability to maintain a balance between short term delivery and longer-term strategy
No ego – we all muck in as we’re a lean team, but help us set-up better boundaries to plan further ahead and create a future proofed structure
Highly organised and self-motivated, with a desire to proactively tackle problems, ask for help where needed and work autonomously
Wear a Flutter hat – we’re BFI, but we’re all one Flutter team, and want to set the business up to best deliver for our customers
Create and foster a culture of putting customers at the heart of what we do
Be kind – we’re going to make mistakes. Let’s learn from them together fast, and move forward with better solutions
It’s ok if you don’t think you tick every box on this list. We love people who want to challenge themselves and are passionate about what they do. If you believe you can contribute in some areas and are eager to learn, we encourage you to apply.
Aside from a generous base salary, we have a fantastic benefits & rewards program that is designed to encourage personal and career development.
