ABOUT THE ROLE
We’re looking for a Sportsbook Product Owner to lead the planning and delivery of sportsbook features across mobile and desktop platforms. You will own the product backlog, define user stories and acceptance criteria, and ensure alignment between business, design, and engineering teams. You’ll analyse performance metrics, monitor industry trends and regulatory changes, and identify opportunities to improve the product. From concept to release, you’ll ensure high-quality delivery and a seamless user experience.
 
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
  • Own and prioritise the product backlog, ensuring clear and actionable requirements.
  • Define product roadmap and drive feature delivery aligned with business goals.
  • Translate business needs into user stories, specifications, and acceptance criteria.
  • Collaborate with engineering, design, QA, and stakeholders to ensure smooth execution.
  • Analyse product performance and user behaviour to inform decisions.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities.
  • Ensure high-quality delivery through testing, validation, and continuous improvement.
  • Monitor industry trends, including regulatory changes and emerging technologies.
 
This could be ‘you’ if you can demonstrate:
  • Overseeing the development, release, and maintenance of both mobile and desktop mobile applications, demonstrating expertise in mobile and desktop management.
  • In-depth understanding of the sports betting industry, showcasing your knowledge of the industry landscape.
  • Strong understand of back end trading systems that drive the offer on sportsbook platforms.
 
WHAT WE ASK OF YOU
  • 4+ years of experience as a Product Owner within sportsbook or online gaming.
  • Strong understanding of sportsbook platforms, user behaviour, and betting mechanics.
  • Experience working with trading systems and backend-driven betting logic.
  • Proven track record of delivering products across the full lifecycle.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into product decisions.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams in Agile environments.
  • Hands-on experience with tools such as Jira.
  • Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-impact environment.
  • Professional proficiency in spoken and written English (fluency is required, as the company is international and daily communication in English with colleagues is essential).
