About Flutter Functions

The Flutter Functions division is a key component of Flutter Entertainment, responsible for providing essential support and services across the organization. The division encompasses various corporate functions, including finance, legal, human resources, technology, and more, ensuring seamless operations and strategic alignment throughout the company.

Role Overview:

We are looking for an exceptional Product Owner to deliver impactful improvements to our Cross Product Promotions Platform. Your role consists of being the main interaction point between Product and Technology. Using lean and agile techniques, you will be responsible for delivering business value, fast.

You will bridge technical and business worlds as you continually deliver improvements and innovative features across the full range of the products. You will have a bias for action and can break down complex problems into steps that drive the product experience.


Your exceptional communication skills will be key, adapting to a high paced environment and constant interactions with a diverse group of stakeholders.

Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities:

Understand business needs & translate them into action

  • Deeply understand commercial and user needs and translate them into clear functional and technical requirements.
  • Balance stakeholder priorities, technical feasibility, and business value to shape product direction.

Lead the Requirements & Backlog Management Process

  • Drive requirements gathering sessions with stakeholders and subject matter experts.
  • Create, refine, and prioritise user stories with clearly defined acceptance criteria.
  • Maintain a well-groomed product backlog that reflects evolving needs and priorities.

Enable Efficient and Effective Delivery

  • Ensure requirements are accurate, timely, and actionable to support seamless development.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, UX, QA, and delivery teams throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Own the delivery timeline, facilitate release planning, and support operational readiness activities.

Be a Key Player in Agile Delivery

  • Actively participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups.
  • Run demos / “show & tell” sessions to showcase product progress and gather feedback.
  • Monitor and report on benefits realisation and delivery outcomes.

Drive Cross-Functional Alignment & Communication

  • Act as the primary communication bridge between business, technical teams, and stakeholders.
  • Clearly communicate roadmap, priorities, and progress to all relevant parties.
  • Manage cross-team product dependencies to ensure smooth delivery of end-to-end solutions.

Contribute to Product Strategy & Team Development

  • Serve as a domain expert and trusted advisor within your product area.
  • Understand how technology components integrate to deliver value to both the end-user and the business.

Champion Quality, Compliance, and Governance

  • Ensure all product solutions meet company standards for performance, security, compliance, and sustainability.
  • Collaborate with third-party providers where necessary to integrate external solutions effectively and on time.
