Overview of the Role
Product Owner is responsible for defining requirements, prioritizing backlog, planning resources and overseeing implementation processes. Role takes care of continual product improvement throughout its lifecycle by streamlining development and maintaining conceptual and technical integrity of the product.
The PO has a significant role in maximizing the value produced by the team and ensuring delivered features meet the user’s needs and comply with the Definition of Done.
What you’ll do:
Research market & competitions offerings to identify missing features and opportunities for differentiation;
Identify client’s needs and help the customer understand business value
Participate in requirements analysis sessions with project stakeholders and delivery teams;
Develop, implement and manage product roadmap in accordance with company vision;
Drive the execution of feature implementation from initiation to launch;
Represents the team in front of stakeholders, clients or users
Prepare aim & scope documents for new features to manage stakeholders’ expectations;
Prepare software requirements specifications for complex projects or initiatives;
Assembling and coordinating project team members; assigning individual responsibilities;
Write detailed user stories and tasks which need to be implemented to deliver a working solution;
Collaborate with QA team members to create test plans;
Collaborate with Scrum-Master to document all ongoing work in JIRA and Confluence;
Groom backlog, organize backlog items and estimate together with the team;
Manage communication with the client regarding business and technical issues;
Manage communication with external parties involved in the projects (vendors and 3rd party service providers);
Create and maintaining product documentation;
Schedule the releases and ensure their timely delivery;
Assist the team by providing UAT on the developed features
Handle presentations/demos of new product functionalities as part of the release;
Communicate with Service Delivery team and provide necessary input as part of the release process;
Track escalated issues (as part of SLA process) and coordinate their resolution;
Assists with ongoing support and may act as subject matter expert for various software solutions;
Related duties as assigned.
What you’ll bring:
Working Experience:
4+ Years of experience in a business/system analyst or IT project manager role;
Experience engaging with software development and QA testing teams;
Experience gathering and documenting requirements, user stories and acceptance criterias;
Experience working on continuous software product development;
1+ Year of experience leading the development team.
Standard Qualifications:
Understanding of Product Development, Agile Values and Principles;
Proficiency with any project management solution/tool;
Understanding of Agile frameworks and their differences;
Knowledge of API architecture (RESTful, SOAP);
Knowledge of UML;
Proficiency in designing sequence diagrams, activity diagrams, flowcharts;
Basic knowledge of wireframing tools (draw.io, balsamiq etc);
Research skills.
Proficiency in formal communication;
Proficiency with common collaboration tools: Google Docs, Slack, Skype;
Advanced level of English Language;
Preferable Qualifications:
Proficiency with Atlassian tools (especially JIRA & Confluence);
Development or QA background;
Knowledge of Gherkin or a similar specification framework
Knowledge of software QA methodologies and experience with test plan implementation;
PSPO Certification;
Domain knowledge in iGaming industry;
