As the Product Owner for the Marketing Platforms team, you will be responsible for maximizing product value per sprint and acting as the voice of our internal stakeholders within the company. You own and help prioritize the backlog, ensuring clear user stories and acceptance criteria, and aligning with business stakeholders on feature needs. You will manage sprint planning, backlog refinement, stand-ups, and retrospectives in close collaboration with the development team, while handling stakeholders and cross-team coordination for migrations and brand launches. You also accept or reject stories based on the definition of done, ensuring each sprint delivers max tangible value.

A taster of what you will be involved with: 

  • Own and prioritize the product backlog.
  • Plan and manage sprints.
  • Write user stories and acceptance criteria. Accept/reject stories based on definition of done.
  • Work closely with developers in backlog refinement, stand-ups & retros.
  • Manage communication with stakeholders to understand and help define new projects and features, as well as maintaining ongoing communication during development and after delivery.
  • Manage migrations and launching of new brands in coordination between the different teams.
  • Represent our internal stakeholders within the team.
  • Key accountability: Maximize product value per sprint

What we are looking for

  • At least 2 years’ experience as a Product Owner working with Agile methodologies
  • Direct experience working within a Marketing environment
  • Experience in driving initiatives between teams/departments
  • Background in an app marketing environment considered a plus
  • Excellent level of written and spoken English
  • Excellent people skills and communication
  • Strong leadership & organizational skills
  • Sense of urgency & efficiency/get-things-done attitude
  • Able to sell ideas & negotiation skills

Main Stakeholders and Type of Interaction

  • Marketing Platforms Team: Aligning on stakeholder requirements, sprint planning and ongoing work.
  • Marketing & Regional Teams: Considered as our internal stakeholders. You will discuss challenges and features, collect requirements, provide updates and ongoing catchups and serve as their voice on our team to ensure smooth and efficient product delivery.
  • Project managers: Align and keep updated on ongoing migrations and product deliveries.
  • Analytics: Support going both ways for ensuring tracking and data quality, as well as cooperation on multiple initiatives.
  • Product Department: Aligning on work that requires Product involvement to be delivered or fixed.
  • Senior Product Manager: Reporting to the Senior Product Manager. Working together to create and execute our product vision and maximize efficiency for our marketing activities.
