Product Executive Betfair International

The role: Betfair International Product Executive 

We are looking for a Product Exec to join our Betfair International team (part of Flutter UKI). It's a role with a wide remit to get stuck into including, but not limited to, Betfair Sports and Exchange improvements for customers across our international jurisdictions. 

This role follows a hybrid approach to working, allowing you to combine working from home with working in our modern offices ~2 days a week. These discussions are between you and your manager to find the best pattern for you both. We will kit you out to work from home but know that working as a team is what makes us great and spending quality time together is essential for keeping us mission aligned. 

Responsibilities 

• Manage the 1-2 year roadmap for up to 3 squads 

• Prioritise delivering customer value fast through customer research and experimentation wherever suitable and possible 

• Write high-level requirements, negotiate scope and support the Product Owners 

• Review, measure and assess success of initiatives 

• Build and maintain strong relationships with Flutter counterparts 

• Identify and input into key Flutter projects/initiatives 

• Help to better circulate Flutter plans for INT inclusion (e.g. with Commercial, Customer Service and Payments) 

• Learn to self-serve product metrics for your area and experiments (e.g. Looker and Google Analytics) 

• Make decisions and escalate where required 

• Flag inefficiencies with current processes and ways of working 

• Create and communicate updates to stakeholders 

Skills/Experience 

• No Sports experience required 

• Microsoft packages, Confluence and JIRA (or similar) highly desirable 

• Previous experience working with or within a tech squad advantageous* 

• Experience within scaled agile development environment advantageous 

• Excellent communication skills 

• Ability to prioritise a demanding workload 

• Ability to use analytics and information to problem solve beneficial 

• Context switching 

*or experience within the Sports / Gaming industry and looking for a change

Expectations 

• Bi-annual travel to Dublin, London, Porto, Leeds or Cluj may be required 

• Pivot and support areas outside of your remit where the business needs 

• Learn to juggle multiple projects with tight deadlines and sometimes high-risk implications 

• Stay up to date with the latest initiatives in wider Flutter org, assess relevance for Betfair International Jurisdictions & communicate that to key stakeholders

What happens next? 

If your experience looks right on paper, next up will be a brief phone call with a recruiter. If that goes well, the hiring manager will meet you for a first stage 30min Zoom or face-to-face interview depending on availability. After this there’ll be a second stage interview for less than 1hr with a task before job offers are made.
