Product Analyst - AI & Automation
Location: United Kingdom & Ireland (UKI)
Pattern of Work: Hybrid
Reporting to: Senior Manager – AI & Automation Products
About the Role
We are seeking a driven and capable Product Analyst to join our growing AI & Automation team within Enterprise Technology. You will play a vital role in scaling AI adoption across the organisation by serving as a key bridge between internal business stakeholders and our Enterprise Tech Delivery, Architecture and Engineering teams.
You will own end-to-end product discovery and delivery for specific AI capabilities, taking high-level business problems from Flutter brands and functions such as Finance, Legal, Procurement, Tech and HR, and translating them into robust, platform-centric technical specifications. Working closely with technical teams in Hyderabad and stakeholders across the UK, you will focus on how our AI platforms (APIs, model orchestration, and AI & Automation frameworks) can be leveraged to create scalable, secure, and high-impact internal solutions.
This is a high-ownership role for someone ready to step up and independently manage product workstreams, lead stakeholder relationships, and deliver tangible business value through AI solutions. You'll have the opportunity to shape how AI is adopted across Flutter while building your expertise in a rapidly evolving space.
Note: This role requires flexibility to collaborate across geographies and time zones, working with stakeholders in India and other global locations.
What You'll Do
Technical Product Discovery & Design
PRD Ownership: Own the creation of comprehensive Product Requirement Documents (PRDs) for your product area, translating business objectives into clear technical specifications for engineering teams.
Proactive Opportunity Mapping: Independently identify friction points within internal functions and propose AI solutions that address underlying technical challenges.
Scalable Capability Building: Ensure stakeholder requests are designed as modular platform capabilities that can be leveraged across the entire global organisation, avoiding isolated or one-off solutions.
Stakeholder Management & Strategic Communication
Direct Stakeholder Ownership: Build and maintain strong relationships with business leads across different time zones and domains, acting as their primary product contact. Ensure they understand the technical roadmap, progress, and how AI solutions solve their specific challenges.
Product Value Reporting: Create and deliver updates to management on your product outcomes, focusing on benefits realisation, productivity gains, and strategic impact of platform features.
Show & Tell Leadership: Lead product demos and showcase sessions for internal stakeholders to drive awareness, gather feedback, and encourage adoption of AI capabilities in your domain.
Influence & Negotiation: Navigate competing priorities and manage stakeholder expectations, making trade-off decisions and clearly communicating the rationale.
Technical Alignment & Delivery Collaboration
Backlog Ownership: Own the "Definition of Ready" for your product area. Ensure user stories are technically robust and logically sound, allowing the engineering team to focus on development without facing requirement gaps.
Cross-Functional Partnership: Work closely with Architecture, Engineering, and Delivery teams in Hyderabad to ensure technical solutions align with stakeholder intent, providing clarity on product value and functional trade-offs.
Dependency Management: Proactively identify and document technical dependencies between the AI platform and existing internal systems to ensure smooth integration and prevent development delays.
Governance, Quality & Responsible AI
Responsible AI Guardrails: Incorporate ethics, security, and privacy requirements directly into technical product specifications by design.
Validation & UAT Leadership: Define technical acceptance criteria and lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure platform outputs are fit for purpose and achieve intended productivity gains.
Continuous Improvement
Stay informed on AI trends, platform engineering best practices, and agentic AI capabilities.
Contribute to the evolution of our operating model, engagement processes, and value frameworks.
About You
Essential:
Self-Driven & High Agency: You take full ownership of your work. You don't wait for instruction; you navigate the organisation to gather information, make decisions, and define the best path forward.
Product Experience: 2-4 years of experience delivering digital products or platforms, with demonstrable ownership of product outcomes. You excel at translating ambiguous stakeholder asks into tangible delivery outputs that can be handed off to engineering teams.
AI Knowledge & Application: You have a solid understanding of Gen AI, large language models, and how AI products work. You stay current with AI developments and can articulate how AI capabilities can solve business problems. You actively leverage AI tools to maximize your productivity.
Tech Savvy: You are comfortable with technical concepts, tools, and emerging technologies, enabling effective collaboration with engineering teams. You understand data flows, API integrations, and can discuss technical constraints with architects and engineers.
Proven Delivery Track Record: You have successfully taken products or features from discovery through to production release and adoption. You understand the full product lifecycle and what it takes to ship.
Entrepreneurial Mindset: You thrive in rapidly evolving environments where agility, ownership, and adaptability are essential. You're comfortable with ambiguity and excited by the pace of change in the AI landscape. You think like a founder—resourceful, outcome-focused, and willing to roll up your sleeves.
Systems Thinking: Ability to understand how AI interacts with enterprise architecture. You can map value frameworks into actionable tickets, ensuring clarity for delivery teams.
Stakeholder Leadership: You are skilled at building and maintaining partnership networks with internal stakeholders across different geographies and time zones. You can lead stakeholder conversations, manage expectations, and drive alignment without formal authority.
Global Perspective: A passion for building "once for many," ensuring that features built for one part of the business provide value across the entire global organisation.
Collaborative Leadership: Proven ability to work alongside Architecture, Engineering and Delivery teams to ensure high-quality product releases. You bring fluidity to the process of passing partner asks to Engineering while maintaining accountability for outcomes.
Communication Excellence: Outstanding skills in translating complex technical concepts for diverse internal audiences. You can present to senior leadership, write clear documentation, and facilitate productive discussions.
Product Lifecycle Management: Strong time management and organizational skills to independently manage multiple product workstreams from discovery through delivery and adoption.
Value Framework Orientation: Ability to map business value frameworks into actionable delivery tickets and measure outcomes against strategic objectives.
What you'll need:
Experience with AI, automation, or platform engineering products (e.g., NLP, Gen AI, chatbots, or agentic workflows).
Hands-on experience using AI platforms such as OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, or similar technologies in a product context.
Exposure to Responsible AI, governance frameworks, or AI ethics.
Strong proficiency with tools such as Jira, Confluence, or product analytics platforms.
Experience working in cross-functional or cross-geography teams, particularly with offshore development teams.
Background in consulting, startups, or fast-paced technology environments where you've had to build processes from scratch.
Previous experience in financial services, regulated industries, or enterprise technology.
