ENTER THE GAME
As a Procurement and Payment Executive, you will join the Betclic Group Finance Team in Malta and will be responsible for keeping the books and records of entities within the Betclic Group. The Procurement and Payment Executive will be responsible for the daily operations and have the responsibility for the invoice posting process and the payment posting Process.
This position calls for a self-motivated person with a strong technical background, able to take initiative and adapt easily and positively to changes. This role represents a stimulating and rewarding challenge in a fast-moving and growing international organisation.
YOUR ROLE WITHIN BETCLIC
In this role, your main missions will be:
• Assisting with Cash Forecasting and planning of the cash for operational requirements
• Preparing and running payment batches
• Processing of the payments
• Understanding of the Procurement process cycle and assisting internal users and external suppliers
• Assistance and input on company requisitions, where necessary. Instructing and guiding the business to follow internal processes.
• Posting of invoices (daily), while ensuring that coding of invoices is done correctly (entity and nominal) and that each invoice has a supporting Purchase order/Requisition, when needed.
• Monitoring the whole invoice process and chasing budget holders for approval
• Coordination with Suppliers on interpreting our internal processes and ensuring adherence to meet such
• Supplier relations and account ownership
• Assisting the Procurement and Credit Control Manager in the day-to-day running of the function
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We are looking for passionate and curious professionals who bring kindness and a touch of enthusiasm!
This job is for you if:
• You have successful professional experience in double-entry bookkeeping, payments, and VAT-related processes.
• You possess strong Excel skills, a high level of accuracy and attention to detail, and you thrive in a challenging work environment.
• You have a strong command of accounting principles, financial data handling, and VAT knowledge.
• You speak English fluently.
• You have a degree in Accounting or related fields.
WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT FROM THIS RECRUITMENT?
