The People Relations Advisor supports the organization in maintaining fair, compliant, and constructive employee relations. The role focuses on handling employee concerns, supporting disciplinary processes, ensuring labor law compliance, and promoting a culture of respect and open communication. This position is ideal for early-career HR professionals or fresh graduates with a strong foundation in labor relations and HR principles.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as a point of contact for employee relations concerns, inquiries, and grievances
Assist in handling disciplinary cases, investigations, and documentation in accordance with company policy and labor laws
Support conflict resolution initiatives and facilitate employee–management discussions when needed
Provide guidance to line managers on people relations matters, workplace conduct, and policy application
Assist in the review, implementation, and communication of HR and company policies
Ensure compliance with labor laws, company rules, and internal procedures
Attend and assist in conciliation–mediation proceedings with DOLE–SENA and the National Labor Relations Commission (NLRC), as required
Prepare documentation, and case records related to labor disputes and external labor proceedings
Maintain accurate and confidential employee relations records and case files
Participate in employee engagement, training, and HR projects related to workplace relations
Coordinate with internal stakeholders (HR, Legal, Management) on people relations and labor-related issues
Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Human Resources, Industrial Relations, or related field
At least 1–2 years of experience in employee relations or labor relations
Fresh graduates with CHRA certification are encouraged to apply
Basic working knowledge of Philippine labor laws and dispute resolution mechanisms
Strong interpersonal, communication, and conflict-handling skills
Ability to handle sensitive matters with professionalism and confidentiality
Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple cases
