Key Responsibilities
- Act as a trusted partner to managers and employees, serving as a bridge between leadership and the People & Culture team across the Bulgaria office
- Advise and support managers on performance management, employee relations, engagement, and other people-related matters with professionalism, high level of confidentiality and sound judgment
- Support and coordinate annual performance review cycles, goal-setting processes, probation reviews, and ongoing feedback initiatives
- Lead and support a local team of People & Culture professionals, fostering collaboration, accountability, and continuous development
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation within HRIS platforms and internal systems
- Comfortable handling core people ops processes on an as-needed basis, including HR administration, employee documentation, and supporting pre-payroll activities while ensuring compliance and accuracy
- Oversee onboarding and offboarding processes to ensure a seamless employee experience
- Support office-related operations and employee experience initiatives as needed, contributing to a positive and well-functioning workplace environment
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a People & Culture, HR Generalist, HR Manager, or People / HR Business Partner role
- High level of ownership, discretion, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
- Experience supporting managers with performance management and employee relations
- Strong understanding of Bulgarian labor legislation and HR operations
- Strong communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills
- Previous experience leading a team would be considered a strong advantage
- Experience in iGaming or another regulated industry would be an advantage
- Fluency in English
