Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a trusted partner to managers and employees, serving as a bridge between leadership and the People & Culture team across the Bulgaria office
  • Advise and support managers on performance management, employee relations, engagement, and other people-related matters with professionalism, high level of confidentiality and sound judgment
  • Support and coordinate annual performance review cycles, goal-setting processes, probation reviews, and ongoing feedback initiatives
  • Lead and support a local team of People & Culture professionals, fostering collaboration, accountability, and continuous development
  • Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation within HRIS platforms and internal systems
  • Comfortable handling core people ops processes on an as-needed basis, including HR administration, employee documentation, and supporting pre-payroll activities while ensuring compliance and accuracy
  • Oversee onboarding and offboarding processes to ensure a seamless employee experience
  • Support office-related operations and employee experience initiatives as needed, contributing to a positive and well-functioning workplace environment

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a People & Culture, HR Generalist, HR Manager, or People / HR Business Partner role
  • High level of ownership, discretion, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience supporting managers with performance management and employee relations
  • Strong understanding of Bulgarian labor legislation and HR operations
  • Strong communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills
  • Previous experience leading a team would be considered a strong advantage
  • Experience in iGaming or another regulated industry would be an advantage
  • Fluency in English
