Job Description

We’re looking for a People Business Partner who’s ready to drive real impact. You'll collaborate closely with senior leaders to shape people strategies that fuel business success, all while championing a positive and inclusive workplace.

This isn’t just about HR process—it’s about influence. You’ll bring people along for the journey, build buy-in across the business, and lead initiatives that truly move the needle on performance, engagement, and growth.

You'll work closely with Learning & Development and Talent Acquisition teams to co-design and deliver integrated strategies that boost talent attraction, drive employee retention, and build future-ready succession plans for our growing Mauritius office.

From data-led insights to navigating complex employee relations and supporting transformation, you’ll be a trusted advisor and key player in our People & Culture team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with leaders to align people strategy to business goals, anticipate challenges, and co-create solutions
  • Deliver data-driven insights, reports, and dashboards to support strategic workforce planning and decision making
  • Drive cultural and organisational change through high-impact stakeholder engagement and clear communication
  • Lead the full Performance Management cycle, including goal setting, feedback, development, and performance conversations
  • Partner on the design and implementation of career development, succession planning, and retention initiatives
  • Provide expert guidance on complex employee relations cases with fairness, discretion, and legislative compliance
  • Guide and coach managers in all areas of HR policy, performance, employee development, and engagement
  • Support audits, compliance activity, policy governance, and transformation projects in partnership with P&C and the Head of People

Qualifications

  • 7 years of prior similar experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources management or similar. Professional accreditation is preferred
  • Exceptional knowledge of HR Practices and employment law
  • Strong business acumen, dynamic and understanding of organisation dynamics
  • Extensive experience in a HR business partner model in a matrix or international set up, working with local managers to create positive business outcomes
  • Proficiency in using global HRIS system or other HR related software
  • Strong track record of executing projects using proven project management methodologies while effectively juggling multiple priorities in fast-paced environments
  • Highly computer literate with excellent mastery of Microsoft office and any other business-related tools.
  • Strong analytical skills including financial acumen
  • Previous experience in implementing enterprise technology platform is desirable
  • Ability to articulate sound business decision founded on data and trend and forecasting
