What’s the position?
Our Payroll & Reward Specialist will be a key member of our global payroll team and along with them will be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of U.S. payroll, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. This role requires in-depth knowledge of U.S. payroll practices and hands-on experience with ADP Workforce Now, supporting employees across multiple states. Our Payroll & Reward Specialist partners closely with various stakeholders to maintain payroll integrity, resolve discrepancies, and deliver a high standard of service to our team members.
Key Responsibilities
Process end-to-end U.S. payroll cycles using ADP Workforce Now
Ensure compliance with all U.S. federal, state, and local payroll laws, including tax withholding, wage and hour regulations, and garnishments
Maintain and audit employee payroll data, including new hires, terminations, pay changes, bonuses, and benefits deductions
Manage multi-state payroll processing and related tax registrations, filings, and reconciliations
Administer payroll-related activities such as off-cycle payments, retroactive adjustments, and year-end processing (W-2s)
Reconcile payroll reports, taxes, and general ledger entries
Respond to employee payroll inquiries with accuracy, professionalism, and confidentiality
Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve system or processing issues
Support internal and external payroll audits and maintain accurate payroll documentation
Continuously identify opportunities to improve payroll processes, controls, and system usage
What are we looking for?
Proven experience as a Payroll Specialist with in-depth knowledge of U.S. payroll
Strong hands-on experience with ADP Workforce Now (payroll processing, reporting, and troubleshooting)
Solid understanding of U.S. payroll tax regulations, multi-state payroll, and compliance requirements
Experience handling benefits deductions, garnishments, and statutory payments
High attention to detail with strong analytical and reconciliation skills
Ability to manage confidential information with discretion and integrity
Strong organizational skills with the ability to meet strict payroll deadlines
Effective communication skills and a customer-service mindset
Knowledge of payroll integrations with HRIS, time & attendance, or benefits platforms
