The Role

The Payments Product Specialist is responsible for supporting the delivery, optimisation, and day-to day management of payment products across multiple iGaming brands and clients. This role works closely with payment providers, technology teams, operations, compliance and commercial stakeholders to ensure payment solutions are reliable, scalable and provide the best possible customer experience. The successful candidate will own the operational delivery of payment integrations, monitor payment performance, investigate issues and contribute to continuous improvements across the payment ecosystem.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the development, optimisation and day-to-day management of payment products across multiple brands and jurisdictions.
  • Monitor and analyse key payment KPIs including deposit conversion, acceptance rates, withdrawal times, error rates, provider performance and payment success rates.
  • Identify opportunities to improve payment performance, customer experience and operational efficiency through data-driven insights.
  • Support the rollout of new payment methods, product enhancements and optimisation initiatives such as smart routing, cascading, fallback logic and provider performance comparisons.
  • Own the end-to-end delivery of PSP integrations, upgrades, configuration changes and payment method implementations.
  • Coordinate API integrations, webhooks, redirects, hosted payment pages, wallet integrations, testing, UAT, certifications and production releases.
  • Support provider migrations, routing changes and platform improvements while maintaining accurate integration and payment flow documentation.
  • Act as the primary technical contact for payment providers and collaborate closely with internal development teams throughout the integration lifecycle.
  • Monitor transaction flows, payment performance, system alerts and provider health across all supported payment methods.
  • Investigate payment incidents, failed transactions, reconciliation discrepancies and technical issues, performing root cause analysis and coordinating resolutions with internal teams and PSPs.
  • Support operational and client-facing teams with technical payment queries, escalations and ongoing payment optimisation.
  • Work closely with product, technology, operations, compliance, risk, Finance and customer support teams to deliver reliable and compliant payment solutions.
  • Support regulatory requirements, PSP certifications and security.


Requirements:

  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in payment product, PSP integrations within the iGaming industry.
  • Good understanding of online payment processing, payment gateways and PSPs.
  • Experience working with card payments, open banking, e-wallets, bank transfers and alternative payment methods.
  • Understanding of payment APIs, webhooks, redirects and payment integration workflows.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience interpreting payment data and KPIs.
  • Experience investigating payment issues and coordinating technical resolutions.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience working with Jira, Confluence, Monday.com or similar project management tools.
  • Knowledge of payment regulations, PCI DSS, AML, KYC, PSD2 and fraud prevention principles is an advantage.
