Game Operations Specialist
Description of the position
The Game Operations Specialist is responsible for supporting the release, configuration, and ongoing operation of game content across multiple markets and operator environments. The role combines operational execution with cross-functional coordination to ensure that game launches, updates, and integrations are delivered accurately, on time, and in line with business, technical, and regulatory requirements. This position works closely with internal teams and external partners to coordinate releases, manage configurations, support new market and operator onboarding, and maintain the smooth operation of live content.
What you will do
· Plan, schedule, coordinate, and execute game releases and content updates across multiple environments.
· Manage and maintain game configurations, including metadata, feature settings, stakes, and environment-specific parameters.
· Support business-as-usual operations by overseeing routine updates, patches, and hotfixes with minimal disruption to live environments.
· Coordinate the onboarding of new markets and operator integrations, ensuring operational readiness, structured testing, and smooth go-live execution.
· Provide operational and technical support during onboarding and post-launch activities, working with internal teams to resolve configuration and integration issues.
· Manage the scheduling, validation, and deployment of third-party and in-house content in line with release plans and market requirements.
· Monitor live operational processes and identify opportunities to improve workflows, efficiency, and release quality.
Collaboration & reporting
· Work closely with Development, QA, Product, and other relevant business teams to ensure release readiness and alignment on priorities, timelines, and dependencies.
· Act as a key coordination point for operational requests, issue escalation, and cross-functional communication.
· Maintain proactive communication with external partners, operators, and internal stakeholders to support successful launches and timely issue resolution.
· Collaborate with Game Operations team members and engineers to coordinate tasks and support delivery against the operational roadmap.
What we are looking for
· Experience in game operations, content distribution, release coordination, or a similar technical or operational role.
· Experience working with external partners, operators, or third-party vendors is considered an advantage.
· Familiarity with iGaming or digital content ecosystems is preferred.
· Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
· Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
· Ability to coordinate effectively across multiple teams and stakeholders.
· High attention to detail and a proactive, solution-oriented approach to problem-solving.
· Ability to work independently, take ownership, and deliver with a high level of accuracy and accountability.
· Familiarity with release processes, build and release tools, Excel, and other operational systems is beneficial.
· Flexibility to support release windows and operational escalations when required.
