A leading brand in the online betting industry is looking for a Paid Social Media Specialist to lead the charge in delivering high-impact campaigns that engage, convert, and grow their customer base across key platforms.


What We’re Looking For
  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field
  • 2–3+ years' experience in paid social media advertising, ideally in online betting, gaming, or e-commerce
  • Proven track record of delivering successful, data-driven campaigns
  • Proficiency in platforms like Meta Ads Manager, X Ads, Google Ads
  • Experience with analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel
  • Knowledge of CRM systems and audience segmentation tools
  • Basic graphic design skills (Canva, Adobe Photoshop) – a plus
  • Strong analytical, copywriting, and storytelling abilities
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, performance-focused environment
  • Understanding of online betting, gaming regulations, and responsible gambling practices
  • Familiarity with the South African or international betting market is a strong advantage
Key Responsibilities:
  • Campaign Strategy and Execution:
    Plan and manage paid social campaigns across Meta, X, LinkedIn, Google, and more and create engaging ad content and manage budgets to meet performance goals (CPA, CTR, conversions)
  • Audience Targeting:
    Use data and analytics to target high-value customer segments (e.g., sports bettors, casino players) and apply advanced targeting tactics like retargeting and lookalike audiences
  • Performance Optimization:
    Monitor and analyze campaign performance using tools like Google Analytics and conduct A/B testing and provide regular reports with actionable insights
  • Compliance and Brand Consistency:
    Ensure all campaigns follow advertising regulations and responsible gambling guidelines and collaborate with creative teams to maintain brand standards
  • Innovation and Trend Awareness:
    Stay up to date on platform updates and advertising trends and test new formats and strategies to enhance results
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    Work with Content Creators, Designers, SEO Specialists, and Customer Support to align marketing efforts
