Paid social is one of Betway’s most important growth channels — a critical driver of customer acquisition, brand visibility, and competitive advantage. As Paid Social Manager, you’ll be the strategic lead behind our paid performance ecosystem, ensuring our campaigns are optimised, scalable, and aligned with business objectives.

You’ll bring deep expertise in paid social platforms, a strong analytical mindset, and the ability to translate insights into actionable strategies. You’ll also collaborate closely with our global ambassadors and partnerships — including Thierry Henry, Ottawa Senators, Williams F1, Golden State Warriors, Philadelphia 76ers, Arsenal, Man City, Chelsea, Atlético Madrid and more.

You’ll be responsible for optimising Betway’s paid social strategy across multiple regions, ensuring our campaigns deliver measurable impact across acquisition, retention, and brand growth.

What you’ll do

You’ll take ownership of work that gives us our competitive edge, including:

  • Lead global paid social strategy across sports and casino verticals, managing full-funnel planning, execution, optimisation, and reporting.
  • Oversee campaigns across Meta, TikTok, Snapchat, X, Reddit, and emerging platforms, ensuring KPI delivery and ROI across multiple markets.
  • Develop audience strategies (segmentation, lookalikes, retargeting), creative testing frameworks, and high-performing paid assets in collaboration with design teams.
  • Manage and forecast significant budgets, introduce new vendors/platforms, and stay ahead of industry trends and algorithm changes.
  • Ensure compliance with brand positioning, regulatory standards, and responsible gaming requirements while aligning paid and organic strategies.
  • Provide performance insights to senior stakeholders, lead real-time amplification around major events, and collaborate cross-functionally with CRM, Retention, Sponsorship, and Finance teams.
  • Maintain strong relationships with platform reps and external agencies, and conduct post-campaign analysis to inform future planning.

  • Proven experience managing large-scale paid social campaigns for major B2C brands, ideally in sports, entertainment, gaming, or betting.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in reporting tools, attribution models, mobile measurement partners (e.g., AppsFlyer), and advanced Excel.
  • Ability to translate data into actionable insights and deliver measurable ROI.
  • Experience briefing, developing, and optimizing high-impact creative formats, with strong understanding of sports culture and casino audiences.
  • Skilled in managing significant budgets across multiple markets while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and responsible gaming requirements.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with experience engaging senior stakeholders and collaborating across Marketing, Digital, CRM, Retention, and Sponsorship teams.
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments, work autonomously, and proactively drive performance improvements with exceptional attention to detail.

Desirable skills you’ve got up your sleeve

It would be great if you also have some the following skills:

  • In-depth knowledge of sports betting markets, including odds calculation, betting types and market trends
  • Previous experience in the online gaming or casino industry, with a strong understanding of player behaviour and industry regulations
  • Familiarity with gambling regulations and compliance requirements in various jurisdictions, ensuring adherence to legal standards
  • Experience in developing and executing customer retention strategies
  • Strong knowledge of regulations (UKGC, ASA, AGCO) and compliance standards.
  • Skilled in tracking, analytics, and pixel implementation; certified on major platforms (Meta, TikTok, Snapchat).
  • Experience across digital performance channels and managing agencies/partners.
  • Creative mindset with an eye for high-performing formats; degree in marketing or related field.
  • Bilingual proficiency (English/French).
  • Experience with cross‑channel digital marketing.
