Playtech's IMS unit is looking for a proactive and driven Operations Engineer to join their Risk and Payments team.

Your influential mission. You will...

• Roll up your sleeves to troubleshoot incidents, formulate theories, test your hypothesis and narrow down possibilities to find the root cause.
• Help the team to develop internal automation tools.
• Communicate with various other teams inside the company to solve problems and suggest ways to improve current solutions.
• Help technical support teams with payment integrations and risk-related product support.
• Figure out which parts of the product need to be monitored to proactively catch issues.

Qualifications

Components for success. You...

• Have basic scripting and SQL skills, as well as knowledge of working with the Linux command line.
• Bring basic experience with Python, Java and PHP.
• Are familiar with Docker, Git, Puppet, InfluxDB and Grafana.
• Have some hands-on experience working with Web servers (Nginx).
• Know the fundamentals of Linux OS and Networking.
• Communicate fluently in English, both written and spoken.
• Possess good analytical thinking.
• Have excellent time-management skills and the ability to complete the tasks you have started.
• Like to dig into details and want to understand how things work.
• Adapt quickly in constantly changing circumstances and feel comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
