About the role
We are currently seeking an experienced and dynamic Media Team Lead to join our rapidly expanding Media team. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in driving user engagement, leveraging data-driven strategies and maximizing the potential of our top media sources, with a strong focus on affiliate and comparison site performance across paid social and emerging channels.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and inspire a team of Media Buyers within a dynamic and fast-paced environment
- Strengthen, maintain, and cultivate relationships with various channels through effective leadership and communication
- Utilize data analysis to identify opportunities and drive strategic initiatives for the team
- Guide and motivate the team to achieve and surpass monthly targets for expenditure and revenue
- Foster collaborative partnerships with internal stakeholders to enhance productivity and results
- Oversee media buying strategy across programmatic, mobile/app, paid social, and direct channels, not limited to search
- Lead paid social strategy across Meta, Snapchat, X, Reddit, Telegram, and emerging platforms, driving scalable acquisition through data-driven optimization
- Forecast, allocate, and manage paid media budgets across platforms and geographies to maximize ROI/ROAS
- Evaluate and onboard new DSPs and mobile media sources to diversify traffic beyond existing channels
- Own mobile app campaign performance (installs, in-app events, ROI) alongside web-based acquisition, including native in-app advertising formats.
- Own the end-to-end lifecycle of high-volume affiliate and comparison site campaigns, from strategy, creative, and launch through to scaling and optimization, while navigating platform compliance and certification/whitelisting requirements
- Define and monitor KPIs, driving continuous optimization through structured A/B testing and creative iteration
Requirements
- Proven track record of at least 2 years in a managerial or team leadership role, showcasing exceptional organizational and motivational skills
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in media buying, with demonstrated experience working affiliate or comparison site traffic specifically, prior in-house experience at an affiliate business is required
- Experience working within a regulated or high-compliance vertical (e.g. gambling, sports betting, crypto) with a solid understanding of certification, whitelisting, and platform compliance requirements
- Strong working knowledge of paid social platforms (Meta, X, Snapchat, Reddit, Telegram, or similar), including compliance/certification processes for regulated verticals
- Hands-on experience with native app marketing, mobile app install (UA) campaigns, in-app event tracking, and native ad formats, not solely web/desktop campaign experience
- Working knowledge of MMPs (e.g. AppsFlyer, Adjust, etc) for mobile attribution and app performance measurement
- Experience managing budgets against ROAS/ROI targets across multiple markets
- Proficiency in data analysis and a keen attention to detail, with the ability to derive actionable insights to inform decision-making
- Experience in the US market – advantage
