We are currently looking for an experienced Senior Media Associate to support our Digital Partnerships & Programmatic function, within the digital media practice focusing on FanDuel Predicts and Flywheel Products. The role will be responsible for managing key channels & relationships for the business across digital channels delivering key results against the businesses’ core KPIs.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in digital media, ideally withing in-house media functions in high-paced, dynamic environments for industry leading brands. We’re looking for a team player who is comfortable working with data and analytics and is interested in building their career in media buying and has an ear to the ground when it comes to emerging best practices and market trends.

THE GAME PLAN
Everyone on our team has a part to play

  • Provide continuous assessment of our digital media tactics and identify areas for improvement and optimizations
  • Make thoughtful recommendations to key stakeholders to improve the performance of respective programs
  • Own and build strong relationships with external partners. Work closely with them to evaluate media opportunities and optimize channels that will achieve FanDuel’s business and marketing objectives
  • Work closely with planning teams to build season-long media plans to meet team KPIs across multiple tactics and platforms, ensuring the team is establishing and crushing benchmarks to strengthen our advertising playbook
  • Oversee campaign and platform budget + weekly & monthly forecasts
  • Optimize budget across platforms and tactics to drive most efficient performance
  • Track, monitor, and optimize performance against key KPIs
  • Develop creative strategy and briefs to drive action across the full-funnel
  • Work directly with platform reps on tactical strategy, innovation opportunities and creative best practices
  • Support in campaign and creative QA while building processes for reporting and budget pacing
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic working environment and open to collaboration with cross-functional teams

THE STATS
What we're looking for in our next teammate

  • Bachelor's degree with a strong academic record.
  • 2-3 years of experience buying media across multiple platforms
  • Direct experience with paid social, paid display, digital video, & analytics tools
  • High level of understanding of performance metrics within digital media and able to make strong decisions on media plans
  • Experience evaluating media opportunities and onboarding new media channels
  • Ability to make strong decisions for media planning in terms of budget allocation, formats and testing
  • Experience with mobile-first campaigns and mobile measurement preferred
  • Possesses an analytical and proactive mindset - you enjoy aggregating information across disparate data points and sources into clear, actionable insight
  • Willingness to learn and gain a proficient working knowledge of auction models and bidding strategies across all major platforms.
  • Needs to be able to work autonomously and within a large team setting.
  • Clear communicator and multitasker, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines across internal and external stakeholders with ease.
  • Has exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.

The applicable salary range for this position is $86,000 - $108,000 USD, which is dependent on a variety of factors including relevant experience, location, business needs and market demand. This role may offer the following benefits: medical, vision, and dental insurance; life insurance; disability insurance; a 401(k) matching program; among other employee benefits. This role may also be eligible for short-term or long-term incentive compensation, including, but not limited to, cash bonuses and stock program participation. This role includes paid personal time off and 14 paid company holidays. FanDuel offers paid sick time in accordance with all applicable state and federal laws.
