Playtech‘s Content unit is looking for a team‑oriented Mathematician Expert with strong analytical skills and a passion for mathematics.

Job Description

Your influential mission. You will...

• Take responsibility for creating algorithms and mathematical models representing a game.
• Design and implement advanced mathematical models and algorithms for games.
• Present results and findings in a clear, structured manner.
• Work closely with the Math Team Leader on tuning mathematical models.
• Validate, simulate, and sign off game models to ensure they work as intended.
• Troubleshoot technical implementation issues with engineers.
• Provide answers and explanations to relevant mathematical questions for game designers, engineers, compliance, and other departments.

Qualifications

Components for success. You...

• Have a university degree in mathematics or programming.
• Have at least 2 years of work experience as a mathematician or developer in a math‑intensive environment (e.g., finance, data, gaming).
• Demonstrate practical knowledge of at least one programming language.
• Possess a strong foundation in algorithms and data structures, including understanding of algorithmic complexity.
• Have excellent working knowledge of combinatorics, probability, and statistics.
• Are familiar with MS Excel.
• Have intermediate English proficiency.
