Job title: Marketing Insights Analyst

Location: Dublin, Ireland

Overview of the role:

The Marketing Insights Analyst plays a key role in turning marketing data into actionable insights that drive smarter decisions across Betfair International. You’ll help evaluate the performance and impact of marketing activities across all channels — including Affiliates, Search, Sponsorships, Content, Social Media, Television, Press, Radio, and Digital.

In this role, you’ll work with large and complex datasets to uncover trends, measure effectiveness, and identify opportunities for growth. You’ll bring strong analytical and data management skills, along with curiosity and clarity when exploring ambiguous questions. Your insights will help ensure our marketing investments deliver meaningful value to both our prospects and customers.

This role follows a hybrid approach to working, allowing you to combine working from home with working in our modern offices. These discussions are between you and your manager to find the best pattern for you both, while recognising that quality time together is essential for keeping us mission-aligned.

Our recently renovated Dublin office is the perfect place for team collaboration and individual growth. It hosts 2 cafes, a games room, gym and an abundance of meeting rooms catered for groups of all sizes. We also run regular social and well-being initiatives, from annual sports days to weekly nail technicians on-site.

What you’ll do:

Reporting to the Head of Customer Growth, you will play a vital role in transforming marketing data into meaningful insights that inform strategy and performance across the business. You will:

  • Deliver actionable insights across performance marketing channels — including Paid Search, SEO, Social Media, Affiliates, and Customer Acquisition & Retention campaigns.

  • Develop and refine measurement frameworks and reporting tools (e.g. Looker) to improve visibility and understanding of marketing effectiveness.

  • Provide ad hoc analytical support to stakeholders, including data validation, sense-checking, and developing new analyses or visualisations to answer key business questions.

  • Generate insights across a broad range of channels, including TV, print, radio, and digital, ensuring a holistic view of marketing performance.

  • Collaborate with agency partners to uphold best practices in data management, analysis, and reporting.

  • Partner with Marketing colleagues to enhance analytical capabilities, streamline reporting, and improve efficiency in data processes.

  • Monitor and track key performance indicators (KPIs), assessing the impact of campaigns on business outcomes.

  • Maintain clear, comprehensive documentation to ensure transparency and knowledge sharing.

  • Respond to data and insight requests from Marketing, Finance, and Commercial teams promptly and accurately.

  • Coordinate with internal and external data owners to source the information needed for robust analysis.

What you’ll bring:

You’re a curious, data-driven thinker who loves turning complex information into clear, actionable insight. You combine strong technical skills with business awareness and enjoy working collaboratively to deliver meaningful results.

Your experience:

  • Proven experience in an analytical or insight-focused role within a data-driven environment.

  • A degree (or equivalent experience) in a quantitative or STEM field.

  • Proficiency with: SQL/Oracle, Excel and PowerPoint and Tableau, Looker, or similar data visualisation tools.

  • Experience with Big Data environments and APIs is desirable.

  • Experience using data analysis tools such as R, Python, or SAS is an advantage.

Your behaviours:

  • Business Insights: Has a nose for business, uses insights to impact commercial drivers.

  • Drives Results: Gets stuck in and achieves results that impact the bottom line with high levels of energy and enthusiasm
