Unit Description

Southland Casino Hotel, owned and operated by Delaware North, features more than 2200 slot machines, live blackjack, craps, and roulette tables, simulcast wagering, and sportsbook. Our new hotel features 300 luxurious rooms and suites. Southland is located in West Memphis, Arkansas, only a short drive from downtown Memphis, Tennessee.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with player rewards department to create email campaigns, digital signage, social media adverts, and other promotional activities
  • Manage marketing communications, implement scheduled promotions, and distribute the materials to the relevant department
  • Maintain and update the marketing calendar and note project time-line milestones
  • Plan promotional rules and procedures adhering to state gaming requirements and formats
  • Source, research, and maintain relationships with suitable vendors for promotional inventory and prizes

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent required, bachelor's degree in marketing, Business or related field preferred
  • Previous experience in marketing, promotions, or event planning, preferrably in the casino or hospitality industry required
  • Must be able to obtain a state gaming license
  • Proficiency with Windows products, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint
  • Excellent verbal, written, and organizational skills
  • Knowledge of Social media platforms
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Weekends, holidays, and swing shift work may be required

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand or walk for extended periods during events.
