Job Description

As a Marketing Compliance Executive you will join the Marketing Compliance team to support the Company’s marketing operation at our offices based in Gibraltar.

This is an entry level role and you be will part of the team that is responsible for supporting the various internal global marketing functions and overall business with compliance matters relating to all aspects of marketing, including Digital Marketing, Social Media, Affiliate Partners, Brand and the bet365 News site. This involves helping to manage the implementation and impact of existing regulations and incorporating any changes and additions to working practices.

The successful candidate will review global marketing content in line with the applicable regulations and provide guidance where required to ensure that our content meets the required standards. This includes review against various frameworks and guidelines from gambling regulators to advertising bodies, with rules differing from territory to territory.

You will also be involved in supporting new licence applications and drafting responses/ documentation for existing regulators or governing bodies.

The role will be full time, primarily working Monday to Friday, however a flexible approach will be required to support business needs as and when required.

Qualifications

  • Strong communication skills and ability to manage upwards.
  • Fluent in both spoken and written English. At least one other language to compliment a regulated online market in which we operate, is preferred but not essential.
  • A background in either marketing or industry related compliance would be an advantage.
  • Experience of working with multiple teams.
  • A good knowledge of sports and awareness of the sporting calendar, is desirable, but not essential.
  • Project management, multitasking and decision-making.
  • A self-starter who is happy to influence change and has a natural positive attitude.
  • Ability to adapt to changing requirements at short notice.
  • High attention to detail, with the ability to manage a demanding workload in a fast paced and highly regulated environment.

Additional Information

  • Providing guidance to internal teams on marketing media or practices, in line with the applicable regulations/ guidelines.
  • Monitoring regulatory developments in key markets and the wider online gambling landscape whilst pro-actively engaging relevant stakeholders where required.
  • Assisting in the creation, upkeep and communication of key internal policies relating to marketing compliance.
  • Facilitating with producing relevant documentation for external bodies to support both existing and new jurisdictions where we undertake marketing activity.
  • Providing reports relating to marketing compliance to the Senior Management team.
  • Reviewing actions or rulings from regulators or governing bodies and advising the business accordingly, whilst also making any relevant recommendations.
  • Aiding in the creation of training material and briefings for internal teams on marketing compliance related topics.
  • Supporting the Head of Marketing Compliance and Marketing Compliance Manager with ad-hoc work.
