What You Will be Doing:
- Manage the localisation process end-to-end, coordinating with cross-functional teams and addressing project changes, issues, and requests.
- Develop, document, and maintain localisation guidelines, SOPs, and best practices.
- Maintain and optimise localisation data processes to ensure accuracy, quality, and consistency.
- Test and validate localisation data, and conduct research to support continuous improvement.
- Design and implement workflow enhancements and automation opportunities.
- Troubleshoot localisation engineering issues, roll out new projects, track performance, and recommend improvements.
- Stay current with localisation technologies and suggest upgrades to existing setups.
- Manage translation management systems (TMS), translation memories, glossaries, and vendor relationships.
- Perform other related duties as required, in line with the role.
What We Need From You:
- Proven experience in localisation engineering, localisation project management, or a related role.
- Strong knowledge of translation management systems (TMS), translation memories, and terminology management.
- Experience designing and optimising localisation workflows, including automation and process improvements.
- Solid troubleshooting and problem-solving skills for both technical and process-related issues.
- Strong organisational and coordination abilities, with experience collaborating across cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with gaming localisation and industry best practices is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
