About this role

At Stake, we're building a best-in-class, always-on customer growth engine to power our next phase of expansion. At the core of this initiative is our Growth Squad, responsible for designing, building, and optimising the systems and strategies that will deliver scalable, sustainable growth for the business. We're looking for a talented and ambitious Lifecycle Manager to join our Growth Squad and help shape our customer journey & lifecycle strategy.

You'll be a key player in driving activation, engagement, and retention, leveraging your deep expertise in customer behaviour and growth methodologies to create impactful customer journeys. The role will involve:

  • Lifecycle Strategy & Orchestration: Design, implement, and continuously optimise end-to-end customer lifecycle journeys across various channels. Your goal will be to drive activation, engagement, retention, and re-engagement by understanding the customer's needs at each stage.
  • Customer Insight & Data-Driven Strategy: Be the go-to expert for understanding customer behaviour and motivations, leveraging comprehensive data analysis to uncover empathetic insights from both quantitative and qualitative sources. You'll translate these insights into sophisticated customer segmentation, identify key drop-off points, and design highly relevant, effective campaigns that maximise customer lifetime value through continuous optimisation.
  • Experimentation & Optimisation: Lead a rigorous program of A/B testing and experimentation for lifecycle initiatives. You'll focus on optimising messaging, timing, channel mix, and audience segmentation, using findings to drive iterative improvements and significant lifts in key metrics.
  • Performance Measurement & Strategic Reporting: Develop and maintain comprehensive reports on lifecycle performance, presenting strategic insights, actionable recommendations, and the direct business impact to the Growth Squad and leadership.
  • Cross-Functional Partnership: Collaborate closely with Acquisition, Product, Data, and Engineering teams to align lifecycle initiatives with broader growth goals, product developments, and the overall customer experience.

A bit about you

  • Hands-on experience in a dedicated lifecycle, CRM, or customer engagement marketing role, with a strong focus on driving customer retention and Lifetime Value (LTV).
  • A proven ability to think strategically about customer journeys, identify growth levers, and design holistic programs that deliver measurable impact.
  • Exceptional ability to derive deep, empathetic customer insights from data, understanding not just what customers do, but why they do it.
  • Proven experience in designing and executing experiments, conversion rate optimisation, and implementing iterative improvements based on rigorous analysis.
  • A highly proactive, reliable, and self-sufficient operator who can own projects from hypothesis generation to post-analysis, clearly communicating findings and recommendations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex strategic concepts and data insights to diverse stakeholders.

At Stake, we’re more interested in your attitude than your resume. If you believe this is a role you want to jump into, please apply and let us know why in your cover letter!
