What We are looking for 

As a Legal Counsel at Novibet, you will play a key role in safeguarding the company’s legal interests on a global scale. In this position, your responsibilities will include among other the drafting and reviewing a wide range of commercial contracts, managing corporate affairs and and overseeing litigation matters. Your expertise will also help navigate key legal fields affecting operations, such as corporate law, labor law and intellectual property rights. This is a dynamic role offering the opportunity to translate complex legal requirements into practical business advice, directly contributing to the company’s strategic objectives while ensuring its legal security and integrity.

What you will work on

  • Draft, review, and negotiate diverse commercial contracts across business functions
  • Handle litigation and pre-litigation matters
  • Oversee and safeguard the company’s intellectual property portfolio, including trademarks and brand protection
  • Collaborate with HR on labor law matters and internal policy drafting
  • Coordinate and manage relationships with law firms and legal advisors across multiple jurisdictions
  • Provide expert legal advice on day-to-day operational issues
  • Act as a solution-oriented legal advisor providing actionable advice for internal stakeholders

What you bring

  • At least 3 - 5 years of relevant working experience within a reputable law firm or an in-house legal team
  • BSc degree in Law Studies (LLB); relevant MSc will be considered a strong asset
  • Excellent knowledge and understanding of commercial and corporate law and procedures
  • Experience in litigation
  • Fluency in English (both verbal and written)
  • Outstanding communication and team working skills
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Multitasking, self-driven and result oriented professional
