Working closely with the General Counsel, Senior Corporate Counsel and the broader Legal team, you’ll play an important role in ensuring our business continues to operate in a compliant, responsible and customer-first way.

This role is a 12 month fixed-term contract, based in our Brisbane office (HQ) with minimum of 2 days in the office.

Day in the Life

  • Provide practical, commercially focused legal advice across commercial, corporate, consumer, employment, privacy intellectual property matters.

  • Advise on new product initiatives, promotions and customer terms & conditions.
  • Review marketing and customer-facing materials from a legal perspective.
  • Support cross-functional business projects and growth initiatives.
  • Contribute to the management of complaints, disputes and other legal issues as they arise – from customer complaints, through to larger litigation matters and regulatory investigations where required.
  • Support the Legal team with governance, documentation and process improvement initiatives.

Your Strengths

  • 2–5 years post-admission experience in private practice or an in-house environment.
  • Strong foundation in commercial and contract law.
  • Broad legal capability across general corporate and advisory matters.
  • Ability to provide clear, practical and commercially sensible advice.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Well organised, detail-oriented and able to manage competing priorities.
  • Collaborative and adaptable, with a proactive and solutions-focused approach.
