Our Mission is to be the world’s leading digital sports media company, making sports entertainment more engaging and transparent for fans worldwide. At Better Collective, we're the team behind industry-leading brands like Torcedores, BolaVip, SomosFanaticos, Action Network, HLTV. We're looking for a new member to join the team who is responsible for boosting Better Collective’s brand awareness across its owned digital properties. Specifically, you will be responsible for ideating, creating, implementing, and reporting on digital public relations campaigns with the goal of acquiring high-value backlinks to Better Collective websites.

How You'll Make an Impact? Here are some of the ways you’ll contribute to our mission:

• Ideate and create PR campaigns to increase brand awareness and generate high-quality backlinks across Better Collective brands: Bolavip Brasil, Bolavip Argentina, Action Network and VegasInsider.
• Write texts in journalistic format in Spanish
• Support the South American Team Lead as needed
• Stay “in-tune” with the world of sports to identify and capitalize on breaking news and trends to ensure that BC stays ahead of the competition
• Work across SEO, content, and design teams to ensure quality deliverables
• Track and report on individual PR campaigns to showcase their effectiveness in acquiring backlinks to BC sites
• Use tools such as Muck Rack or Comunique-se to build an outreach contact list of journalists, media sites, bloggers, and other relevant parties to secure campaign pitch opportunities
• Write relevant and entertaining content to be pitched to third parties for link building purposes
• Provide regular topic recommendations for new digital PR campaigns based on industry and competitive research

The Ideal Profile: Is This You? Here’s what helps people succeed in this role:

• At least 1.5-3 years of experience in PR or Digital PR - either in an agency or in-house environment;
• Experience of executing PR or Digital PR across LATAM;
• Experience of different PR or Digital PR campaign types - from reactive to hero campaigns;
• A strong passion for sports and digital public relations & communications;
• Data-driven mindset to utilize trends and campaign results to inform future decisions;
• Strong written and verbal communication;
• Ability to work across multiple teams and digital brands;
• Basic understanding of SEO and Content Marketing best practices, and what the core principles of PR and Digital PR are;
• Passionate about staying up to date on trends and relevant stories across the sports and wider news world;
• Self-motivation, strong organizational skills, and flexibility are required to be effective in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment of digital marketing and SEO;
• Intermediate or higher level of English proficiency;
• Intermediate or higher level of Spanish proficiency.
  

Nice-to-Haves:

• Experience as a sports journalist;
• Familiarity with industry tools such as Ahrefs, Moz, Buzzstream, Muck Rack, Majestic, and others is a plus.
