Playtech's Casino Mobile unit is looking for a proactive Junior Front-End Developer with great communication skills.

Job Description

Your influential mission. You will...  

• Develop and support frontend parts of casino games using our internal framework (TypeScript + Pixi.js + GSAP)
• Learn and work with an internal game framework built in TypeScript
• Implement animations, UI interactions, and game logic
• Write robust and maintainable code
• Collaborate closely with international teams (Ukraine, Estonia, Israel, Bulgaria)
• Proactively contribute ideas to improve framework and development processes

Qualifications

Components for success. You...

• Have 1+ year of commercial experience in front-end development
• Possess solid knowledge of TypeScript / JavaScript
• Understand OOP principles and design patterns
• Can write clean, maintainable, and testable code
• Hold a formal degree in Software Engineering, Information Technology, or an equivalent field

You'll get extra points for...

• Previous background in game development
• Experience with Pixi.js or other 2D rendering/game engines (Phaser, Three.js, etc.)
• Knowledge of GSAP or similar animation libraries
• Experience in Mobile/Web development projects
• Familiar with npm, Browserify, Gulp, Lerna
• Git or other version control systems
• Knowledge of Java

CASINO MOBILE TEAM

The project is tightly integrated with development teams which are spread in three locations: Ukraine, Estonia and Israel. Our team is responsible for developing web-based casino applications for Mobile Devices. You have a chance to become a part of our friendly professional team. Our team will provide support and knowledge sharing to make your integration into our team as smooth as possible. We are building web-based games for Mobile using our internal TypeScript framework, powered by Pixi.js for rendering and GSAP for animations. Each project is developed from scratch with unique architecture and business logic, offering a chance to work on diverse and challenging tasks. You’ll be part of a dynamic, international team dedicated to delivering high-quality gaming experiences.
