ABOUT US:

Reporting to the Head of Quants you will be working closely with your colleagues in Quants but also various product owners, developers and traders company wide. Our department is responsible for creating predictive models for both pre-match and in-play betting markets in various sports. Join our team and become a part of the global, fast-growing success.

 

THE CHALLENGE:

  • Use ATDD/BDD techniques in your daily work.
  • Use a modern release process (Gitlab CI).
  • A real opportunity to influence the design and technology.
  • Become a domain expert in the exciting world of real-time hi-tech sports data.
  • Support the team in maintaining the codebase.
  • Help to analyse, evaluate and optimize existing predictive models.

Required:

  • Engineering skills where people see you as a role model.

  • Experience with object-oriented programming languages (Java) and clean code/architecture principles.
  • Strong communication skills, fluency in English.

  • A personal interest in keeping up with the general trends of software product development.
  • A can-do attitude, take pride in own work and an ability to keep up momentum.

 

Desirable experience:

  • Worked in Agile development teams.
  • Experience with Maven & Gradle projects.
  • Cloud based services from AWS.
  • Distributed systems.
  • Message queuing (RabbitMQ, Kafka).
  • Docker, Kubernetes.
  • Protobuf & GRPC.

OUR RECRUITMENT PROCESS: 

  • Initial Screening: A quick chat with our Talent Acquisition Partner to understand your background and expectations. 
  • Technical Assessment: A short (home) task to showcase your technical skills. 
  • Two Technical Interviews: Meet with the Technical team and later with the Hiring Manager to dive into your solution, as also discuss team fit. 
  • Onsite Interview (If not organized on prior interview stages): Meet with the local team and take a tour of our office for a final meet-and-greet. 
  • Finals Steps: Receive feedback and, if successful, an offer! 

Additional Information

The minimum monthly salary for this position is according to the Collective Bargaining Agreement. Overpayment will be considered depending on qualifications and working experience.
