Job Description

As an IT Support Team Leader, you will lead a team of 2nd line Engineers, ensuring that our employees have access to systems and applications required to carry out their work.

The IT Services department is responsible for resolving technical escalations and supporting the delivery of new technology into the Business. We provide a customer first approach in an enterprise scale and fast paced global Business.

You will measure the performance of the team, develop individuals, act as a point of contact for escalations and deliver process improvements.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems.
  • Proficent in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent communicator.
  • Self-motivation.
  • Strong team player.
  • Excellent time management skills, with the ability to work under pressure.
  • Ability to proactively learn new skills and maintain technical knowledge.
  • Previous experience managing a multi-site team.

Additional Information

  • Prioritising and managing incidents and requests via the ticketing system and management escalations.
  • Ensuring that the desktop estate is maintained and assets are documented accurately in CMDB.
  • Monitoring quality of work against agreed performance criteria.
  • Coordinating activities for large scale projects and liaising with Project Managers.
  • Developing the team through regular coaching and feedback sessions.
  • Ensuring agreed processes are understood and followed by reporting staff.
  • Updating all procedural documentation and templates as required.
  • Assisting with the recruitment process by reviewing candidates and participating in interviews.
  • Communicating effectively with stakeholders and managers across the wider Business.
  • Leading and shaping the team identity and morale.
