Position Overview:
We are seeking a passionate Intern Quality Engineer to join our mobile development team. This internship provides hands-on experience in testing and quality assurance for mobile applications on both iOS and Android platforms. As a part of the team, you will have the opportunity to work closely with developers, product managers, and other QA professionals to ensure that our apps meet the highest standards of performance, usability, and reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in developing and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts for mobile applications on iOS and Android.
- Collaborate with the development team to identify, report, and track bugs, performance issues, and user experience improvements.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and usability testing on mobile platforms.
- Use testing tools and software to log and manage issues.
- Actively participate in team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and project reviews.
- Ensure continuous quality improvements in mobile app releases.
- Contribute to the automation of test processes where applicable.
What We’re Looking For:
- Current student or recent graduate in Mathematics, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- A passion for mobile technology and a desire to develop a career in Quality Assurance.
- Basic understanding of iOS and Android operating systems and mobile application development.
- Analytical and problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Motivated, eager to learn, and excited about contributing to the team.
Bonus Skills (Not required but appreciated):
- Familiarity with testing frameworks and tools like Appium, Xcode, Android Studio, etc.
- Basic knowledge of scripting or programming languages (Java, Swift, Python).
- Experience in automated testing.
